Founded in 2017, the Early Childhood Funders Network is committed to increasing investment and impact in the early childhood arena in the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County, Virginia. The network convenes like-minded donors for learning, advocacy, and collective giving and champions comprehensive prenatal to kindergarten services for children in our community.

Our Goals

• Inform giving through shared learning on best practices and available data 

• Elevate grantmaking strategies through aligned grantmaking 

• Share expertise and expand networks 

• Speak collectively and raise awareness around zero-to-five initiatives 

• Demonstrate the power of collective philanthropy
